Disc Golf Rules

Please read and understand the following rules that are specifically for anyone planning to visit and play our disc golf course: 

• PLEASE NOTE:  Recently, there has been an increasing number of incidents involving guests cutting down trees. This behavior will no longer be tolerated. A fine of $1,000.00 will be imposed for each tree cut down. 

• PARKING: There should be plenty of parking around the basketball court  where the first tee is. However, please park away from any RV's or tents that are here with the current group camp event.

• Please do not enter any buildings at Wilderness Ranch.  These facilities / cabins are reserved for large camp groups, wedding parties, or disc golf tournaments ONLY.    
  ***This includes the Bath House. *** 
  
  There is a bathroom called "The Hole in One" that disc golfers can use located here: 

• Unless you are part of a group camp, wedding party, or disc golf tournament, please do not "hang out" after you play your round. This also means: No setting up of tents, hammocks, campfires, etc

• Please do not leave any trash behind.  Large trash bins are located near the basketball court.

• Before throwing a disc, watch for people in the woods, especially children. 

• Please be mindful of campers and other disc golfers.

• Have fun!

Additional Rules of the Land

The following rules apply to everyone that visits Wilderness Ranch: 

• Firearms and/or weapons: The use of any type of weapon on Wilderness Ranch property is not allowed. Weapons are considered knives (other than those used for food), daggers (any size) arrows, slingshots, or guns of any type. 

• The Federal Rules for firearm use is the following:

  • (1) No shooting within 150 yards of a residence, building, campsite, developed recreation site or occupied area,

  • (2) not shooting across a road, trail, or body of water, or in any manner or place whereby any person/property is exposed to injury or damage because of such discharge.

• Controlled Substances: Illegal drugs are prohibited. 

• Alcohol: Alcoholic Beverages are prohibited unless alcohol is covered under your event's Liability Insurance Policy

• Smoking: No smoking in any ranch building will be permitted. There is a designated area by the fire pit. Violations will result in the loss of the cleaning deposit.

• Fires: No fires outside of the approved fire ring will be permitted. Refer to the fire alerts page for any restrictions. If there is an alert in effect, no fires will be permitted.

• ATVs: No ATVs are to be ridden on the ranch grounds except to exit the ranch. There are trails behind the ranch.

• Conduct: Lessee is responsible for the conduct of their staff and guests while staying at Wilderness Ranch and surrounding forest area

• Pets: Please do not let pets run around loose.  All dogs must be on a leash.
